Identity is very excited to announce the opening of a new Wellness Center at Seneca Valley High School! The new center, provided in partnership with Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, 480 Club, Emerging Triumphantly and True Connection Counseling, will join Wheaton, Watkins Mill and Gaithersburg High School as the fourth in the county to be managed by Identity.
“We have been looking forward to opening the Wellness Center at SVHS since long before COVID, but the impact of the pandemic has made these services even more critical than ever before,” said Dr. Marc J. Cohen, Principal of Seneca Valley High School. “Housing insecurity, food insecurity, and mental and physical health challenges have all been exacerbated over the last two years. I am grateful for the health care options that are now available and am excited to see the Positive Youth Development side of the center make a true difference in the lives of our kids.”
The school-based Health and Wellness Center is open to all students at Seneca Valley with a variety of programs and services including after-school programs, arts and enrichment activities, field trips, recreation, clinical and non-clinical mental health support, case management services for youth and their families, and access to onsite health screening and primary care at the health clinic.
We are thrilled to welcome Seneca Valley into our Wellness Center family. Go Screaming Eagles!
