Director, Policy, Advocacy, and Community Engagement – Identity is seeking a talented individual to work very closely with the Executive Director to lead the design and implementation of the organization’s next phase of policy and advocacy work. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a deep commitment to Identity’s mission and our vision of a just and equitable society that nurtures all youth and is enriched by their contributions.
Strong applicants will be bilingual in English and Spanish and have significant professional experience in a nonprofit advocacy context and experience with local government budget and policy processes. They will have superb oral and written communications skills. In addition, they will be passionate about Identity’s mission and programs and familiar with the major areas in which we work.
Director of Finance and Administration – Identity is seeking a hands-on manager who leads and develops an internal team to support the following areas: finance, budgeting, administration, facilities and IT. Given the organization’s multiple program offerings and diverse funding (government as well as private grants and contracts), there is a heavy emphasis on reporting and compliance and supporting the development function. The Director of Finance and Administration plays a critical role in partnering with the senior leadership team in strategic decision making, budgeting, fundraising and operations in order to meet Identity’s mission.
Strong applicants will have BA, ideally with an MBA/CPA degree and significant professional experience in nonprofit accounting, grant accounting, compliance and reporting. In addition, they will be passionate about Identity’s mission and programs and familiar with the major areas in which we work. It is expected that the Director of Finance and Administration will work a flexible 25-30 hour workweek.
