Webinar Series Highlights Identity Strategies to Heal Youth Mental Health

The youth mental health crisis among teens nationwide inspired The Annie E. Casey Foundation to produce a six-part webinar series to spotlight and share strategies to improve youth well-being – including an episode focusing on Identity’s Encuentros Program called Addressing the Mental Health Needs of Young Immigrants. The episode, which featured Identity Participant and Encuentros Peer Leader Enrique, Executive Director Diego Uriburu and Program Director Carolyn Camacho, is described as putting the spotlight on a “community-led, non-clinical approach to supporting mental health in Latino communities.”
