Hope Lives Here, the cover story in the current issue of Bethesda Magazine, is about the students at Germantown’s Daly Elementary School where we are providing a new reading support program plus social and emotional skill development and wraparound services to Latino students who are struggling in school. 62% of our program participants ended the 2016-17 school year at or above grade level in reading and 88% demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in their standardized literacy assessment.
