Identity is committed to achieving measurable, lasting impact for the youth and families we serve.

Identity’s mission is to create opportunities for Latino youth and families to realize their highest potential.

Identity’s primary focus is on assisting in-school and out-of-school Latino youth and their families who live in high poverty areas of Montgomery County and are most at-risk for poor academic and economic life outcomes. With our partners, Identity serves all at-risk youth who need help.

Identity’s primary goal is to support our clients’ successful transition to adulthood by providing a range of services that reduce their risk factors, increase their protective factors, strengthen their social and emotional well-being and support their academic and economic achievements.

To achieve this goal, Identity intends to:

  • Increase social integration.
  • Increase anger management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Increase self-efficacy levels.
  • Improve emotional well-being.
  • Increase school connectedness.
  • Increase academic and vocational outlook and options.
  • Increase job readiness.
  • Support family stability.
  • Support academic success.
