This past fall Neighbors Rising began its connection with Identity through a book drive to our elementary school program. Now, Young Neighbors Rising, a group of young professionals, has stepped up to help our community. They are spearheading a soccer cleats and equipment drive for the many students participating in Identity’s soccer programs who can’t afford their own.
The founders of the group say, “We value and celebrate our diverse community. We recognize that some of our young neighbors are in need of encouragement and embrace. We want to show our immigrant and first-generation neighbors that they are welcome in the community we all share.”
