Identity to Provide 21st Century Community Learning Centers at Two Elementary Schools

We are excited to announce that Identity has been awarded two competitive contracts from the Maryland State Department of Education to provide 21st Century Community Learning Centers at two elementary schools with our Jóvenes de Mañana Reading and Social-Emotional Support program. The program serves Latino second and third graders who are reading below grade level, and combines literacy supports, STEM enrichment, social-emotional skill building, recreation, and family engagement to promote participants’ success in school. The new contracts will enable us to provide this culturally responsive learning experience at Harriet R. Tubman Elementary School and Whetstone Elementary School in Montgomery County.
