Identity’s Youth Opportunity Center clients and their families feasted on a traditional Thanksgiving meal in what has become an annual gathering with Neighbors Rising, a virtual community of neighbors in the Maryland/DC area. For the third year, the neighbors provided mountains of delicious food from turkeys to pecan pies, creating another community embrace of these older youth struggling to reconnect to their education and prepare for work. In typical Identity fashion, there were multiple generations coming together to meet each other, enjoy food and play games to celebrate the accomplishments of these resilient young people.
