Many parents and individuals who work with Latino children made a special effort to attend the March 21, 2016 MCPS Board of Education meeting. It was an opportunity to share our concerns about the state of Latino children in Montgomery County Public Schools and to reinforce our dedication to working with everyone who is committed to taking transformational steps to improve education for the 45,000 Latino students.
Identity has requested an opportunity for parents, people who work with Latino students, and concerned residents to have a full conversation about what we are going to do to give all children, including Latino children, a fair chance to succeed.
